Texas Tech’s Postseason Run Continues

After getting upset by Michigan in the College World Series opener, the Red Raiders have now made its furthest run in program history. Tech took down nationally ranked Arkansas 5-4 in a back and forth affair with late game heroics from Josh Jung and Cody Masters. With the game tied at 4 in the 8th, Masters tripled home Cam Warren who motored home from first base to give Tech the lead.
Wednesday night Tech was treated to a dominant pitching performance from Bryce Bonnin and Taylor Floyd. The combination spaced out 3 Florida State hits and gave up only 1 unearned run. A 6th inning home run from Brain Klein put Tech up 2-1 and they never looked back winning 4-1. Up next Texas Tech will face Michigan on Friday night, Tech will start ace Micah Dallas.
