NFL's Game to Watch Week 5

Writer: Zarvea McArthur

The NFL season is in full swing and we’ve seen some great football so far. This week Baker Mayfield will have his first start at home against the Ravens while Deshaun Watson and the Texans matchup against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

The game I am most excited for is the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars especially after the Jalen Ramsey and Tyreek Hill beef. So far Patrick Mahomes has been astonishing with 1,200 yards to 0 interceptions. Kareem Hunt has gotten on his feet after posting 121 yards and a touchdown on 19 attempts against the Denver Broncos and Travis Kelce is going to be Travis Kelce.

As for the Jags, Leonard Fournette is out again with another hamstring injury but that’s not the only thing the Jaguars should be worried about, the defense is going to have to play the best it’s played all year to stop this red hot team.

Jalen Ramsey cannot play as much press coverage as he usually does due to the speed of the Chiefs wide receivers, specifically Tyreek Hill. The Jaguars front four led by Calais Campbell need to get home and get some pressure on Mahomes, the Broncos defense proved last week that pressure will slow down the potent Chiefs offense. The linebacking core will need to try and double Kelce like they did Gronk in week two where they held him to 2 catches and 15 yards. This game is the game to watch this weekend.
