Troyboi’s newest project Left is Right was released this summer, and it’s got some of his best tracks yet. The EP consists of 20 tracks, all featuring the drum-centered trap sound to them. The EP also features artists trap and EDM fans might recognize like Nefera and Healthy Chill, and each track has the intricate, multi-layered, sometimes even strange sound fans of his have come to know and love. Like most EPs, this one consists of some songs that were originally released as singles, in the case of Left is Right, a few of those tracks include, Mantra, Grimey, and probably his most popular of anything he’s released, O.G. In terms of this EP specifically, What You Know is most likely the most popular, as it’s garnered attention from notable dancers like Dytto. My personal favorite of the tracks that are from this EP is Interlude, it has the perfect combination of bass and other instruments, and the “vocals” are pretty interesting as well. Troyboi is my favorite trap/EDM artist, and this is my favorite EP of the genre as well, I encourage fans of the genre to go listen.
